Development of wiring harness assembly is pending in order to obtain the TRL5 in M32.
Some of the project activities are completed, some are ahead of us. Within these firsts, there is the simulation of the process and a preparation of test station at Volkswagen Plant. Test station will be located next to the main cockpit assembly line – namely in the small repair track. Below there are some shots from process simulation performed by the PUT Team.
On the basis of the simulation, types of robots, which meet the process requirements, from various manufacturers were selected. Once the robots will arrive, the next phase will be their implementation and further test at Volkswagen Poznan.
Additionally the area of repair track was scanned with the 3D Scanner, which makes it easier to create and change the virtual environment of the production line.
