Enki was born in 2002 as an OEM engineering, designing and prototyping company specialized in medical devices ranging from class 1 to class 3 thanks to its skills in microtubes extrusion carried out in clean room.
Over the years it has developed and enlarged enhancing the capability and flexibility in extrusion and adding the skills in micro-components moulding, the braided tubes manufacturing and the forming of balloons for dipping e blow moulding.

Afterwards came the OEM manufacturing of finished devices and semi-finished products in clean room ENKI is certified according to ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 13485:2016 standard by TÜV Rheinland.
The production environments are class 10.000 ISO 7 and ISO 8 clean rooms.
In 2017 ENKI took advantage of a management change and of a reorganization of the company team, which has allowed investments and remarkable thrust in the spirit of a philosophy that is extremely focused on quality aiming at the steady improvement of the used technologies at all levels as well as the production and organization processes. According to this reorganization one of Enki’s priority has been the establishment of a new strong skilled team which is very dynamic, but also motivated sharing a job philosophy characterized by closest flexibility and possible efficiency.
The goal is to introduce itself as a more and more reliable partner which every time is able to meet its customer needs promptly and effectively.
The interaction among the different roles and job descriptions is strongly supported with the purpose to integrate as many point of views and knowledge as possible in order to face problems and work out the best solution.
This allows to encourage the project creativity which is necessary to develop devices in fields that are very different from each other interacting steadily with a strict quality system, that is essential for a company whose core business is in the medical field.
Enki is equipped with extrusion-lines for the extrusion of micro-tubing and customized profiles in different plastic materials and material grades.
We have also equipped our extruders with a braided-tube machine for extrusion of very small custom braided tubes which can find ground in the development of different medical devices in order to assure a high and safe flexibility with no-kinking.
We can also rely on a micro-moulding department for the moulding of components and a high technology ISO 7 clean room for the manufacturing of balloons in different shapes, dimensions and materials.
We also have an internal facility equipped with all tools necessary for prototyping and production of pins, dies calibers and accessories.
Enki is specialized engineering, development and production of customized tubes, medical devices, balloons, injection moulding components and compounds and fluid dynamic simulation.
Enki has the right structure for the development of new innovative disposable medical devices; first ,all the components necessary for a catheter development can be made in-house; then we are very flexible because Enki can support the customer from the very prototyping stage up to production; although Enki is a contract manufacturer (OEM), we can give our customers the necessary support to get their products registered (CE mark), as Enki is not taking care of medical devices CE mark.
